Marilyn Monroe in her final days can be seen here enjoying a glass of champagne. She was well known for "always having a drink in her hand", She said in her movie The Seven Year Itch that she loved to "dip potato chips in champagne", - it was her favorite drink by far.

At the 1962 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton hotel, Marilyn Monroe was honored with the prestigious Henrietta Award for being a "World Film Favorite". In this photo she celebrates with fellow actors Rock Hudson and Charlton Heston - who also was honored with a Henrietta Award.
